La ragione è storica e organizzativa. L'origine dell' Oktoberfest risale alla festa di nozze del principe ereditario Ludwig con la principessa Therese (a cui poi venne dedicata l'area di Theresienwiese) che si svolsero il 12 ottobre 1810.
